Kaija Larke brings a strong passion for storytelling and an instinct for what works to every project, with more than 20 years experience in the broadcasting industry. Starting her career as a journalist in local newspapers and radio, she went on to produce programmes on network shows for BBC Radio Five Live, the World Service, ITN and Setanta Sports before landing her dream role as a TV Reporter at BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting Service).
Travelling the world reporting on British and NATO Armed Forces for more than a decade, she deployed to Afghanistan, Iraq, Africa, America and Europe to cover major events and military exercises. During that time she filmed from helicopters and tanks; American warships and on Russian submarines; reported on Presidents and Prime Ministers and met Royalty.
Continuing her work with the military she has provided media coaching and training to personnel before deployments and followed them from their first stages of training in the UK through to the foot patrols in Afghanistan and security operations in the Gulf. She continues to work with NATO to develop authentic Media Environments to provide Simulation and Training to Exercises across Europe.
Kaija continues to support the Armed Forces Community, and many of the Associates that work with This Media Larke are veterans, reservists or soldiers transitioning from military life.
The work ethic and standards of the military are ingrained in all she delivers now, giving you the peace of mind your business is in safe hands.

Shooting Associate Producer
Chris has been working in the media industry since July 2023, after leaving the military where he served in Afghanistan and on UN peacekeeping operations. He studied with BFBS before joining Thread Studios in early 2024, where he’s worked across long and short form documentaries as well as branded content for clients including the BBC, Royal British Legion, GITOC, and the Oxford Union.
His favourite project so far is a documentary on the rise of gang violence in Sweden, where he spent time with those directly affected.
Fun fact: he was born in a school, once raced skis professionally (for about 12 weeks), and even got a private performance of American Pie from Don McLean.
LOREM DIPSUM
Photographer
Rupert has been working as a photographer since 2007, his most memorable thing to have shot to date is his Afghanistan Portfolio. For many years, he’s been working as part of the This Media Larke team to tell intricate client stories on a personal level.
Alongside Rupert’s photography work, he was also a runner-up in the Sky Arts Master of Photography competition.
Nathan joined the Army Photographic Trade after 12 years in the Paras, swapping parachutes for cameras. His favourite project to date was covering the Arctic Circle in winter 2023 across Norway, Finland and Estonia—his toughest but most rewarding assignment yet. Before the Army, he studied Arts at the University of the South Pacific and worked as a photographer and editor in Fiji.
His fun facts? He once modelled for Coca Cola, was part of the Army Bobsleigh Team, and spent over a decade jumping out of airplanes for a living.

Having been with This Media Larke since 2017, Luke has a range of favourite projects. But one that sticks out to him includes when he helped the team capture professional skiers at Rise Festival in France.

A multi-talent to our team, Adam has been with This Media Larke since 2021. His favourite memory was when he and the team worked on a centenary live fire machine gun shoot – which included capturing footage of 16 live Vickers machine guns.
Adam’s also a fanatic about upside-down Union Flags.
Broadcast Journalist
Sarah has a rich career in broadcast journalism, from interviewing figures like Prince Philip, former UK Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, and former US Vice President, Al Gore, her experience outweighs her years.
In her spare time, she also works as a Bollywood actor and has credits in over 20 Indian movies.
Director of Photography and Editor
Having shot a range of high-intensity work, it’s hard for Jamie to pick a favourite – but if he had to he’d say his work with Tom Scott on a web series where he got so into it that he even had to do a fire stunt.
Previously working for the BBC in 2015, Jamie started with This Media Larke in 2018 and is now a lead for the team.
Although Jamie loves what he does, his most fun memory would be when he went down the fastest bobsleigh track in the world with an Olympic Bobsleigh Athlete.
